Airbnb and short-let cleaning in Nancy

Between an 11am checkout and a 3pm arrival, everything has to be settled. This is a trade of tight windows as much as a trade of cleanliness.

The turnover, gesture by gesture

A turnover is not ordinary cleaning; it is resetting a stage. The property has to match the photographs in the listing exactly, or the rating suffers. We strip the beds, change bed and bath linen, remake the sleeping areas crisply, fold the towels the same way every single time, and put every object back in its original position.

Bathrooms and kitchens account for most negative guest comments: shower screens descaled, wastes cleared, seals checked, fridge emptied and disinfected, crockery inspected piece by piece, hob and microwave degreased. Bins go out, liners are replaced, floors are washed last of all.

We also restock the consumables you supply — toilet paper, soap, coffee capsules, salt, bin bags — and flag what is running low before you get the remark. Every turnover ends with a series of time-stamped photographs sent over WhatsApp: you see the property ready, even from three hundred kilometres away.

Finally, we report what is wrong: a blown bulb, a temperamental flush, a mark on a sheet, an object broken or missing. Spotted at turnover, a problem is fixed before the next arrival; discovered by a guest, it becomes a public review.

FAQ

Questions from hosts

Do you handle the linen, or should I supply it?

The usual arrangement is that you keep two or three sets per bed: we swap them over, run the machine on site if the property has one, and leave the next clean set ready to go. Without a machine in the property you will need a laundry service; we can then handle drop-off and collection if the point is on our route.

Can you come on Sundays and public holidays?

Yes, we work every day from 9am to 5pm, which covers virtually every turnover window. Weekend checkouts and arrivals are in fact the bulk of the work on this kind of property in Nancy, particularly around the city's larger events.

How do you get into the property?

Key safe, smart lock or a set of keys handed over: all three work. We record the access code and the opening method in the property's file, and we always tell you if a guest has left the door unlocked or if the code has stopped working.

What if the property is left in a very poor state?

We photograph everything before touching a thing, we call you, and we tell you how much extra time putting it right will take. You decide whether we carry on. Those photographs then support any claim you make to the platform.
