Between the last coat of paint and the first packing box there is one stage nobody wants to do — and that cannot be skipped.
Two passes, never just one
Plaster and sanding dust has one particular property: it falls back down. A site cleaned in a single go looks immaculate that evening and turns grey again by the next morning, because airborne particles take hours to settle. So we always work in two stages: a complete rough pass, then a finishing pass at least twenty-four hours later.
The rough pass clears fine rubble, offcuts, plastic sheeting and masking tape, vacuums floors and walls with a site vacuum, peels the labels off new joinery, and lifts the larger splashes of paint, glue, filler and silicone from floors, glazing and sanitary ware.
The finishing pass goes back over everything that has received the settled dust: skirting boards, window sills, sliding runners, radiators, switches, handles, the inside of new cupboards, sanitary ware, taps and glazing on both faces. Floors are washed last, with the product suited to the new covering — freshly laid laminate is not treated like tiling.
We do not remove bulky waste or heavy rubble: no tip runs, no skips, no dismantling. That belongs to your building contractor or to a house-clearance service. We take on the site at the stage where only dust and marks remain.

When in the works should we call you?
Once every trade has finished, touch-up paintwork and skirting boards included. A clean launched while a tradesman still has to come back is money thrown away. Book the slot early, though: handover cleans bunch up at the end of the month, when tenancies begin.
How long for a fully renovated flat?
For a one-bedroom flat coming out of a full renovation, allow a day for the rough pass and half a day for the finish. The deciding factor is not the floor area but how much sanding was done: a job involving ceiling work throws out several times more dust than a simple refresh.
Do you get paint off parquet?
Fresh or recent splashes, yes, mechanically and without harsh solvent. Oil-based paint dried onto oiled parquet for weeks is another matter: lifting it risks attacking the finish. We test on a discreet area and show you the result before going any further.
Do you work for building trade professionals?
Yes, and it is a common arrangement: the tradesman or project manager entrusts us with handing the site over clean, which saves tying up their own team on work that is not theirs. Invoicing then goes to the company, with a figure based on plans or a quick visit.
